Fuji Packaging: Reclo-Sure ensures a 50% material reduction. Resealable MAP packaging for fresh products, developed with Nordex and Supertape.

Fuji Packaging, in collaboration with Nordex Flexibles and Supertape, has developed a resealable packaging for fresh food: RECLO-SURE. This packaging offers the option of packaging products under MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) while the consumer can still reseal it.

RECLO-SURE packaging achieves a significant material reduction of 50% compared to conventional packaging, which leads to a significant reduction in plastic use.

The combination of the high-speed FUJI flow pack packaging machine, the resealable high barrier film from Nordex Flexibles and the unique resealable Supertape, creates a consumer-friendly, resealable packaging suitable for, for example, sliced cheese and meat products. In addition, Nordex Flexibles' high barrier, resealable packaging film is ready to recycle, allowing it to be sorted efficiently in the recycling process.
